Anyone ever ordered from Bakker Spalding?

Looking to buy a fruit tree but they're £10-15 cheaper than other places. Anyone had good / bad experience with them?

    I've placed 3 orders with them recently after recommendation from a friend. They said they were a reliable company. That's all I can tell you though as I'm still awaiting delivery.

    They can't be too bad - they have been in business for years.

    the worst thing about them is the photoshopped colours in the catalogue.

    Hi Verdun, I've ordered some gladioli bulbs another order for toad lily bulbs with a free tri colour Buddleia ( meant to be 30cm tall) and a third for more toad lilies and small Hosta plugs. Will let you know what they like when they arrive

    There is no such thing as a tri coloured buddlia, what you will get there is three tiny plants put into the same pot. There they will struggle to grow as they will be too close to each other.

    Yeah it said 3 plants - 3 colours ~ tri colour. All should be 30cm tall. I have Buddleia so know what to do. Didn't want it but won't turn a freebie away

    As I understand naturalising bulbs is scattering them and planting where they land rather than planting in uniform rows/clumps. Correct me if that's wrong.....

    As for the Budleia freebie, it was included when I ordered toad lilies. I have so much space I need to fill with plants and have some Budleia plants already so it will fit in nicely. When I say I didn't want it - it wasn't on my shopping list and I wouldn't have paid for it. With so much space to fill I am trying to nurture plugs and take cuttings so I'm grateful when a plant lands in my lap

    Aym280 if you are green you would be very welcome in my garden...I have plenty of gaps that need a bit of green image it's a loooooong slow process starting from nothing but I'm getting there.
