Has anybody ordered from jparkers before? I'm thinking they'll be more like 14 to 16 months old at best.

I started with similar collections, but mine came from hayloft. All flowered the first year, and have bulked up considerably since. Think I am in year 6 and they are going strong - have increased stock by stem cuttings - biggest challenge is finding a "non flowering stem" ....which is a nice problem to have image

Chicky, I increase phlox by irishmans cuttings. At this time of year, I hack a lump off of the side of the plant without digging it up. It usually has a few roots and a strong shoot or three. I pot it up until the roots fill a three inch pot, then plant out.

I had a collection of phlox from hayloft. They were also bare roots. They needed potting on into smallish pots and grow them ln first. They flowered the second year.
