Two plant ID's

Hello all, can anyone tell me what these two are. I originally thought they were the same plant but at this time of year it's obvious that the leaves, and flower colour are different. The second photo shows the back of the leaves as they're quite distinctive. Both have formed a scruffy shrub approx 1m high. Many thanks…
