Maybe Scroggin is somewhere near me, in the Pennines, cos we had a sudden thundery downpour about 6.30 this evening, out of nowhere.  On the washing, of course... and we now have continuous rain out of a yellowish sky...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

It was hot and sunny in Cumbria, until late afternoon. Had a lovely day at Rydal Mount, used the 2 for 1 card before going on to Dove Cottage.

Oh dear scroggin! That was a close call  image

Obelixx, only necessary if you have a Minecraft addicted grandson, just in case I'll try and post a picture.......

Its all about cubes and knitting cubes is not straightforward so it is distracting me and destroying me at the same time!

Hope the damage isn't too bad, Scroggin, we are still getting over flooding in the autumn. Some shops are still closed in the town centre.

Also have grandson (5 last Sunday) adicted to minecraft.  Three little showers yesterday, plenty of gardening done, today walked the Seven Sisters to Beachy Head with the dogs, windy up there of course, BUT not rain although it was forecast.

Back from sunny Menorca and its wet wet wet in the northwest

  • Oh that must be a shock for your system flumpy - from one extreme to another - at least you have had some summer weather in Menorca. Here it was windy, cloudy and not at all summery today. Felt sorry for the thousands of cruise ship passengers but hope that their island tours made up for the poor weather.
