Espresso Machine for Garden

Hello there, my first post, perhaps you could help me to find out what coffee machine would be safe to use outdoors, in a garden. I want to wire it properly under a protected area for sure, but no walls. I wonder if anyone has a similar scenario outdoors as I'm not sure what kind of machine to purchase considering whether it will endure or not the moisture in the air. Thank you for reading

Cheers

Dorset is not always easily covered on layers of snow, however ...

I doubt anything would be suitable for permanent use outside in the UK. Only if it was kept in an insulated building of some kind. image

Not been posting on any threads for a while, but this one has got me "twitching".

Hosta asked about evidence yesterday, re car manufacturers etc. BMW have warned workers at its British factories that they would reconsider UK manufacturing, in the event of BREXIT, as have Honda and Toyota,

The USA has clearly stated, that they would much rather deal with a combined EU, rather than with us as a separate entity.

I have no wish to build a wall around us, with a keep out sign.

Years and years of uncertainty, the Swiss are still trying to sort out trade agreements 17 years after starting negotiations.

It is so much easier to negotiate from the inside.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Thanks Dove, If we stayed in the EU that sort of thing would not happen!!!

  • All modern coffee machines are safe outside, after all you do have to put water into them

Best idea is to have an outdoor socket and just take the machine out with you when you intend to use it and bring it back indoors when not in use.

If you really must leave it outdoors than make sure you have a circuit breaker in the lead and that the machine and circuit breaker are covered with a waterproof cover when not in use.

Well I have to say, as a coffee lover, in fact your idea is a bit weird as other people already mentioned. Even if you live in Dorset and the weather is not that severe, it still is. By the way, do you live nearby the coast? That would be even worse. My advice though would be, get the machines that are made on stainless steel, I mean, the more stainless steel the better, like some DeLonghi or Krups models. That won't be any guarantee yet as inside these machines there are electric spots that I'm pretty sure are delicate to moist and probably will deteriorate with time.
