IS THAT ALL YOU GOT JAKE.

VerdunVerdun Posts: 23,348

well, looks like Jake was pretty benign here.........yes, a bit windy but already less than it was; yes some rain but just an odd isolated shower.  And its bright.  The sun is pushing through now and then.  Cold?  Yes wind is chilly image

if Jake has passed by...as local weather forecast said....I am happy with that.

however, elsewhere locally damage has occurred, the odd power cut etc.  Has the Bay protected us here again?  Storm?  What storm? image  Ha ha

...oooooo what's that?   A sudden strong, very strong wind now....looks and feels dangerous......heck!   Help! .....something is c.....................image

Imogen was on the day that we moved OH's things from the flat in Eastbourne to the cottage in Norfolk. Dartford Bridge was closed, total chaos, cars were sitting rocking in the wind on the M25 image

  • This is a storm? So far we have had a bit of rain and one good audible five minutes of wind, though that may have just been me...

It's like this EVERY March, hence the saying, "In like a lion, out like a lamb"!!! We've had torrential sleet and rain and a few bendy trees but nothing I would say was extraordinary for the season.

Same here Lou, why does every bit of weather have to have a name. My OH reckons it's because it takes your mind off of other important issues in the world.

Very chilly here ( 2C when I took Hubby to work at 10am) and very windy. We also had a fairly dramatic hailstorm for about 15 mins.

Nowt I'd say too unusual for March in Devon.

The snow /hail did settle here for just a little while, there could still be a sprinkling on the moors, I can't see them for mist.
