Sowing seeds

I am going on holiday 27th Apr-2nd June, and have or cannot trust anyone to check my seedlings. (I haven't sown them yet) are there any tips as to growing from seed with no one around.  Seems a silly question.  May be you have some not so silly answers.

Forget the seeds and buy some plants when you get home.

Can what is it you'll be growing? Can they be seeded directly into the garden? (& thus mother nature herself can water the seedlings).

it's along time to leave anything especially seedlings unless you have a very trusted person to watch over them. Clari's suggestion is something you could try - but it depends totally what you want to sow of course.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Thanks guys and gals, I think I will seed the garden before I go and fill in any gaps when I get back.

If you seed the garden you have to hope it rains and then hope even more that the slugs don't eat them.
