  • chicky that was amazing! Where is it? At first I thought  it was a N T place that we had been to but I was wrong. I would sooooo love to have a walled garden! 

    Also loved the accompanying music!

    Thank you so much, Chicky, that was great. I've been there in early June and in July. it's one of my favourite borders in a garden open to the public. Waterperry Garden in Oxfordshire.

    Hi Tetley, sorry for the delay. The purple thing is Dracunculus vulgaris, I liked the juxtaposition of the exotic and the wild dog daisies and Silene fimbriata

    Dracunculus not Ranunculus

    Yes, it stinks but only to attract its fly pollinators. Then the stink goes but still purple.

    Probably best not outside the kitchen window.
