  • Its on the club card boost £5-£15  but you do have to pay P&P. They also do van meuwan and susciptions to GW mag, garden answers and gardners news.

Its really bad I just keep buying more as it doesnt seem like real moneyimage

I bought lots of daffs and alliums in the summer. Now I am eyeing up the strawbs

My blueberry brigitta from local wyevale was much bigger and cheaper (even without 3 for 2). After a the mild winter seems enormous in comparison.

I am not expecting much from my cosmos jumbo plugs arriving in april.

I've got a pinkblueberry,it's evergreen but it hasn't flowered yet. It was a small plant, I'd ring themimage
  • aym280 - I hope you've got lots of patience - wisteria grown from seed is likely to take 15 years or more to flower.  If you want flowers sooner than that you need a grafted plant - that's why they're more expensive.

If you want inexpensive seed take a look at the seedswap thread on here image

  • The best tip I know about buying wisteria is to buy one that's in flower when you  buy it image

I prefer the Davidia Involucrata's other name ... Dove tree image

  • Update: I contacted Suttons and sent them pictures and they said:

"I do not think that the blueberry plant is in a poor condition. On the contrary, the plant is pushing through lots of new shoots and it will in no time be covered in new growth. If the plant was in poor condition this would not happen.

If you are concerned about the browning of some leaves, this is a natural process and happens with all plants. You can simply pinch or prune those leaves out.

It is of course your right to return a plant if you are not satisfied with it. In this case you will have to return it to us as soon as possible and if it arrives in the same condition we will refund you the money for it. I can not offer you a replacement as this would most likely to be in the same condition."

TBH, it looked a lot healthier pretty much later the same day and I've since taken off the dodgy leaves and it seems nice and healthy, so I don't think I'll bother.

    Thank you everyone though.

  • At least Sparkles got a response and it's an honest answer ........

  • The pink lemonade blueberry plants looked the same at both of the two garden centres we visited at the weekend. All had leaves but looked a bit ragged. It could just be that they leaves are looking a bit old as it is winter.

Its not a great condition to recieve a plant it but it could just be the season.

  • I will take a picture of how it's looking tomorrow, but it's probably doing the best of the three now!
