It's not a Crinodendron, nothing like it. It's a Pernettya although they have moved to Gaultheria I think, or Gaulnettya even, they get a bit lost in translation with all these changes... possibly Gaultheria/Pernettya 'Bells Seedling'.
Bells Seedling or Gaultheria mucronata is looking good.
So this plant given some long awaited TCL could grow to be 1 to 1.5mtrs and if it then looked as good as those on google images then its worth keeping and leaving in the ground.

IMHO neither gaultheria , nor pernettya have the little " tail" as Dave puts it on their fruit.

Still open to further suggestions, thoughts and ideas as to what this might be.
If it flowers and its ID is not clear i'll post images of the flowers later this spring presumably.
I agree with the Pernettya people but which one is another story altogether!
