    That's the one, Hosta. Don't cut that in the spring or you won't have any flowers.

    Buddleia globosa is great for bees as well as butterflies, as the flowers are less deep than B davidii.

  • I've got Weyeriana Bicolour; Weyeriana Sungold; Buzz and a bog standard Davidii. All look to be starting to sprout. I've also followed the suggestions of an autumn prune, removing about one third. Followed by a second prune back to desired height in March.

    But mine are starting to grow now and was wondering if its too soon to prune. I live in Essex.
