    Are you sure? Not seen often, it's Australian and I think the leaves are shinier.

    Doesn't look like either of the strobilanthes I grow. Also all the strobilanthes I know are dormant in winter.

    I'm still in the wait and see camp

    Thanks, I hear what you say, the nursery could be wrong. I did look it up on the internet and I wpould be happy that it is a strobilanthes, I will wait to see if it flowers.Actually the leaves are shiny..

    Must wait and see/

    It must have changed a bit since you first posted. I would have liked to see that from different angles then. How about a few now?image

    also, although it's been in the GH, where was the plant you took the cutting from and where is it now?

    Hi 2 more images. I took the cutting last summer, I forget from where. It has been in my greenhouse throughout.
