Verdun, your garden is looking gorgeous. Have you got a new camera? Clearest photos I've seen from you. We have hot weather and we had a wet spring but it makes my plants grow tall and fall over. Still haven't got to grips properly with staking.

Yours looks lovely, Chicky, beautiful loose feel to it.

No one would have known you are a novice, Mortuus, if you hadn't said so!

Hi Mortuus  and welcome to the forum,I don't think any one will judge you here.  Most people appreciate all the effort put into making a lovely garden and then uploading pictures for us all to see. thank you for posting.

Hi Mortuus - what a pretty garden!  We're all learning on here, however long we've been gardening.  image

One of two Hostas outside the front door.

The bank is gradually disappearing. Bought 7 more plants on Friday...I'm hoping that's enough now with what I have already.

I thought this mallow was dead so I cut it down to the ground!!! image There are two more and they were also dead!...not...

A little bit of colour. Last year this was 1/2 inch deep dust and dirt and weeds.

Looks great pp. What have you done with your slugs and snails? Perfect Hosta. I always cut my mallows right down in the spring, they grow back.
