Thank you everyone, its not as stunning as so many on here but its come a long way from nothing in a year, so I'm pleased. Fairy, lawn mower almost pointless now, really considering digging the lot up but I do like to sit, walk through and use the garden, can't all be flowerbeds....unless I get a hovercraft ....gravel is a bit bumby to sit on....hmmmm
Dove, sandy soil, great drainage, lots of flints, horse muck, that's it! The other twoz gooseberry's were nearly dead from poundland!
