What are these pm's that people are sending each other? (I'm not very computer literate). I like this forum and feel really sorry that some people clearly feel offended and insulted. I can't see why we shouldn't sometimes discuss issues that are important, current and interesting, just as we would at home, work or amongst friends. Free speech seems a good thing to me, but that does not mean rude or offensive speech. Disagreement is not and should not be a personal criticism - we are all adults entitled to our views, but discussion can open minds and bring about progress. What's wrong with that?

Might go for a short stomp to see some snowdrops this year if it warms / dries up a bit Dove image

That would be a lovely idea.       Drying up would be good. image

Tetley - my comment was neither rude nor unkind but a dispassionate observation.  I note that V's own self imposed stricture not to post on anything but garden topics didn't even last 24 hours.  Clearly he can't contain himself and needs a lot of pampering!

I have been to check my snowdrops despite the wet.   The precocious ones in the front have long since finished and the ones out the back aren't even showing their noses.  This may just be because last year I divided a lot of the clumps and spread them around.   Hope so.
