Thank you Verdun. I've got some hardy ones but also got some plugs of ordinary ones. I'll get them into my mini greenhouse and keep my fingers crossed.
The black one is on the front wall of the bungalow, facing north and the green - pink dessert one is on the wall between me and the first neighbour next door (i have five on that side), facing west. I get tons and eat loads straight off the vine. The front garden ones are a great favourite with the wrens. I like to use the leaves in casseroles, made into rice and mincemeat parcels and cooked in a rich sauce. I also cook the grapes in lamb stews like the French and make grape juice, Used to make wine when the family were here. Four hours of lovely work done in my garden this morning has given me quite an appetite.
Hi Marion, I'm waiting for a perennial poppy to open, new this year it was a gift. Half open looks white & pink ? It was covered by the leaves from something and sadly forgotten . I've had to stake it in all the recent wind and I check it each day, I want seeds from it. Fingers crossed that it opens and then I'll post pic.

Gaillardia 'Arizona Sun'
Has not stopped flowering since I planted it in July. One of the best plants I have purchased this year
I think my star at the moment must be my grapes. They are so,
so very sweet this year.
What a great harvest - are they outside? Ours have never produced more than tiddlers...and mildewed tiddlers at that
