Lovely stars Busy, I'm hoping to find one when it stops raining image

Love Rozanne too Lizzie - there's a reason it won plant of the century (or whatever that silly Chelsea award was last year - how can you choose one plant for 100 years image)

Wendy, the yellow is helianthus lemon queen - not really got into its stride yet this year. It gets to 8 foot and needs no staking so is perfect for the back of my borders. Wish i could find other plants that do the same. Tried a thalictrum elin this year, but it was pretty floppy, and have high hopes for a eupatorium, but the verdict is still out on that one.

Lovely flowers everyone, I've enjoyed looking back on this thread. Mark, that tri-spotty-thingummy is gorgeous!

My huge cosmos is still going crazy despite the rain.

A rescue poppy from late spring has a flower on it now so at least I know the label is right.

8foot sunflowers just coming out - but pointing the wrong blinkin way!

What is the pink coneflower in the last picture, Lyn?

Zinnias Fidget, sorry should have said.  The flowers seem to last forever, just a packet of seeds but so easy to grow, a bit flashy but I think they are lovely, fespecially as they are covered in bees.

The brown ones are Rudbeckia the 1st ones are dahlias.
