Hi rosemummy, thank you for liking my hydrangeas. I really really want to cut some for indoors but only a few heads on each plant Keep thinking shall I? Shan't I? Think tomorrow I will take just one from each plant and put in individual vases (aka jam jars I have been saving for such an occasion ) Like you have with your jasmine.
I had a beauty last year, jasmine that is but the metal frame I had it growing up rotted and when we took the frame down and re planted the jasmine it didn't take But the stem was so thick and twisted I used it to grow a clematis up which looked nice but no gorgeous scent like you're enjoying now. Will you be sharing a pic of your jasmine? Hope so
The star in my garden has to be the self sewn tomatoes, growing everywhere in stones around my swimming pool, never watered, fed, or looked after in any way, other than being picked. Not bad, as in my garden its mid winter, I live in the sub tropics of Queensland Australia. Its hard, very hard, to get the flowers I love to grow here, but I struggle to grow roses and have some success, humidity is my greatest enemy here, love everyone beautiful photos!
Thank you David S. At last I know what it is . Came in a perennial seed packet . Without the flowers a very ordinary plant , but once blooming looks beautiful . Many thanks again , Wendy.
Wendy, came past a garden yesterday and saw the yellow jews mallow and saw it had the same spreading stems and leaf as your plant. I knew someone would know thanks david s.
Beaus Mum, thanks for that tip, the tablet has many useful features, just find it frustrating re taking photos in bright light. Trying to capture my star of the week - the first water lily, but shows a white blob in daylight, and closes as the sun goes down!
so this shy geranium appeared just when I thought the plant was 'resting'
Well pretty Bizzie and what a lovely surprise I cut mine all back about a week ago after monty said, always do what monty says And they have already grown back into lovely clumps, hoping they may flower again?

Two yellow tree lillies, the scent in the evening is strong. And my Watsonia is in flower, eight flower spikes in orange and electric blue stamens.
They sound lovely garden maiden, do we get pics to look forward to?
Hoping to take a couple when the heat subsides, its a bit too bright and warm out there.
