Other end to you Verdun, its Dartmoor, I am very privilaged to be able to live here, to take care off and have free reign of this lovely garden, almost like a small park, I am very lucky.
Hard to believe this time last year it was a 25 year old conifer hedge.
Dove, did you notice the hedge along the top of the bank, coming on now I have uncovered it from the couch grass, nettle and brambles. I planted 5 more whitethorn as well.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Not in the garden any more and not much colour I'm afraid, but today's star has to be my Charlottes, first time I've ever grown spuds and very pleased with myself.....as is my OH
Beautiful Lilies, mine aren't flowering yet and if this wind doesn't die down there will be nothing left of them to flower!! Why does it always get windy just when the lilies are about to flower??
I forgot to say in my spud excitement, fab pics everyone and what a beautiful view Lyn

The last of the Delphiniums with nasturtiums in a large pot on a rainy dull day.

The Salvia patens and tree lillies are showing themselves off today:
Just noticed the sparrowhawk on the roof behind the lilies (which are taller than me!) No wonder the birds are a bit sparse today!
