He's lovely, Digger. I like seeing Nigel following Monty about. My dog follows me about.

Lizzie its the same here. I'd be lost without my 'mate' helping. I say to him things like, "do you think I should put the crocus's here?" If he walks off its a NO. lol.

Yes Tootles, he loves "his" garden. He never bothers the birds or the frogs, he just looks at them quizzically.

Sorry Mike I only just saw your post. Nope, I only post on here and it always takes me at least 3 attempts just to correct any mistakes...hehehehe

Love your cat Digger, I can see he is very busy! I have a ginger one who is always run off his feet.

I love Monty, people say that the prog is no good for the smaller garden, but of course, you dont have to sow seeds or buy plants by the hundreds just scale it all down to your needs.

I would rather see Monty than all those dreaded cookery programmes that are on, all done for cheap so they dont need to pay top stars wages. Much better for the beeb if they just use members of the public to make a tv show.

For me , love him and Nigel, never liked box hedge but it means a lot to him and I was sorry he was upset about it.

Lyn, I agree. Apparently, most of those who watch cookery programmes never cook a single dish shown but I bet those types of shows outnumber gardening by 5-1.

Oh he's here....Leo says 'Hi, Lyn'. (he'll be exhausted now)

Digger, I had a cat who used to accompany me when I weeded.  She would sit on the next patch of weeds and wait to be picked up so I could dig them out...

I've loved GW in its various incarnations for years.  It's the highlight of my Friday evening!  And currently, Carol Klein is my favourite presenter, just for her exuberant enthusiasm.  A truly happy woman.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I totally agree. You can tell that Carol adores plants just by listening to her, its mesmerising.

Leo prefers to sit on the best plants or the ones that tangle in his fur just so I have to get the knots out. I have the scars to prove itimage
