Frankie, I'm with you on FCUK. I don't even go inside the shop.

Fairy, I have a top from Weird Fish which I love and a few sweaters from Fat Face - I find it very difficult to find good quality clothes on the high street these days, so I tend to stick with one brand as long as they are selling good stuff. At the moment these two fit the bill, long may it last.

All my clothes are Joe Browns, must admit to F and F underwear though, cheap, cheerful and throw away.  i like FatFace and White Stuff but only buy on eBay auctions, tight I am.image

I don't know most of these shops - one of the benefits of living in Belgium with no ITV on cable.   I like cotton, linen, wool and silk and am not shop shaped so usually make my clothes but have recently discovered Pepperberry which does tops and dresses sized for boobs.   The dresses are far too short for my height and age but there are a few good cotton tops hidden in there.

Other than that, M&S T-shirts on my annual raid and jeans.   OH retires on Thursday and will no longer need formal shirts except for posher dance evenings so I'll be sewing him casual shirts too - once we've been to the sales and bought a new machine.  My last one was declared DOA when I sent it to the docs after it fell off its shelf.

The new one can be a late Xmas prezzie I will really treasure.

obelixx, I used to get my jeans from Etam when I lived on the Continent - they were the only ones who'd realised that not all women have hips and waist of the same circumference and catered for normal feminine body shape.

Thanks Aster2.  I'll have a look in the January sales.

I basically live in Ralph Lauren polo shirts when I go out. Rarely too formal, or too casual. Hubby bought me another 2 this chrimbo.

I think I'm up to about 20 different colours, so it's easy to find one right for the mood.
