Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, twitter, facebook, ugly cars, hair straightners, false nails, Monty Python, prog rock, talent shows, wildlife programmes, cruises, cabaret, magicians, stand up "comedians", live bands (shut up you have no talent and you're up your own a**e).......
I have never watched star wars, I wouldn't recognise a song by U2 (although I know what Bono looks like) and I don't own a mobile phone. I have a nagging feeling that I may be missing out, but then again.........
Having read some of the above comments, and had a think about it, I've decided the thing that irritates me the most is being lied to. I have a friend who is a strong believer in "being diplomatic" rather than telling it how it is. I'd much rather be told straight out than being misled.
A good thread Hosta OK well yes the royal family. Any kind of motor racing. Or horse racing for that matter. Reality shows, plastic manufactured pop acts. Jazz - I just don't get it.
But music in general, I couldn't be without it. Or poetry

tee hee pp, you're clearly on a bit of a roll.
Keeping your mobile switched on all the time. It's a tool, not a body-part!
Using mobile while driving ( if you were that big a hotshot tycoon, you'd have someone else to make your phone calls.)
People who use phones on public transport. Some of them are so loud , they ought to just open the window and shout. It would save them a lot of money.
I haven't got time to read back through all these or get started myself today - but suffice to say that I now know why I feel so at home on this forum
