Especially tea FG. I haven't drunk it since 1973. EEeeeeuuughh! Nearly as bad as parsnips except that it doesn't try to disguise itself as a tasty vegetable. Sneaky!
Oh I say Hosta. Methinks you touched your match to our blue touch paper. We're not getting the "passed me by" bit and have moved straight to the "things that get right on my wick" bit! hehe!
pp, I've tried so many times to avoid the " things that get right on my wick" I just want to rejoice in the things which others love , but we don't understand.
The more you dislike something, the more interesting it is to find out why it appeals to others - so perhaps we can accommodate hate and why.
I would like to understand the appeal of a chocolate bar that contains bits that stick in the back of your throat. Or the appeal of soggy sponge, tinned fruit and cold custard with the seasonal addition of edible ball bearings

Good point Aster.....Dickens! What the Dickens???
remember , nobody want to ban it , they just don't understand why WE love it. Ditto the converse.
Runny, older men do it too. Remember MD on the first episode the GW this season.?

I tried. I really did....but Bounties??? Well really! And RB keeps coming up with brilliant things to hate!
I don't want "hate" I just want, why?
Sorry. RB keeps coming up with brilliant things to why.
