Here in France they have 'Where's Charlie?' which my little boy Charlie finds most amusing, although having been given at least 3 books of the same title for birthday presents the novelty of being "famous" has worn off a bit.

wallies , when I grew up in Scotland was a term for anything made of ceramic. False teeth might well have come under this banner, but I remember " wally closes": the posh ones with tiles on the walls of the close, ( up to the second floor , then normally just painted) Just like " wally dugs" those Staffordshire pottery dogs folk used to have on the mantelpiece.
