Jo47 , I retired from full time work about 8 yrs ago but got a p/t job and a voluntary one
but the p/t one finishes the end of this month so have decided to leave the voluntary one as well , so start Jan 1st properly retired , looking forward to doing all those jobs at allottment , garden and house that never seem to have time for !
Hello again everyone, and thank you for your comment's, i did work on a distance learning course, with the Chelsea gardening school.this took me the best part of four year's, mainly because I was,and still am working full-time. And when talking of my other job,as being a part of my other life,a job which I had fallen out with.I do have thirty years experience of gardening organically. At this moment, the allotment is growing leeks,I have planted garlic, broad beans are in tubs in the potting shed for when I can get up to the allotment im hopping to do so this weekend and to also plant three tray's of onions.this moment in time,im making as much homemade compost as possible, here's an idea why not use junk mail and bills for compost
Hi again jo yes I have read it many times, I think it's essential gardening reading, and also the jewel garden, plus the ivington diaries fabulous books.
Hi jo47 thanks for your support. No I haven't tried that, but I do like the idea's,I do have a gardening blog.im visualising myself achieving my goal's, working on other people's gardens is fun and its also good hands on experience. A good thing to add to the CV.
Don't know when I will be using this again as the connection to this machine has gone a bit wonky but if anyone wants to know I shall return as soon as possible in the mean time I'm going all out to get my work published merry Christmas and happy new year to you all in the words of simple minds don't you forget about me....
