  • Yes, they are huge - I vaguely remember going into the palm house many years ago, it was fascinating. Those huge lily leaves are amazing. The time and effort that the Victorians put into their building work - well they are still standing - can't say the same for many of the 1960's - 70's buildings they look so shabby now.

  • Have just watched Sunday's episode and found it fascinating.   I'm always interested in anything to do with glass making, either from times gone by or with the technology of the present day.  I could spend hours watching someone glass blowing.

I found this episode to be particularly informative, and I loved hearing about the plant hunters, and their efforts - thoroughly enjoying the series.

And thank you for sharing your photos BL, your lovely garden is an absolute joy, I'm horribly jealous and admire all your hard work.

  • It's been such an interesting, informative, thrilling mini series.  I wish it was far more extensive, in terms of length of time and number of episodes, which would have allowed the inclusion of greater detail relating to gardens/plants/gardeners/designers, etc.

Monty is always such a pleasure to watch and listen to.  We all hate to miss anything by him and love his knowledgeable and urbane manner.
