I'm finding lots of small ones recently as well. Dreading when the giant Spanish slugs make an appearance in Summer!
On a recent visit to my favourite part of Austria, I noticed some unusually LARGE snails!!
Next picture shows one alongside a 'little owl' for size comparison....
As a result of their strangely nutritious diet, the local ducks have grown to truly HUGE proportions.....
*These two specimens were peering at me over a 1.5 metre high hedge!!
Laugh, I nearly w*t myself!!!
