    Ah yes - I hadn't thought of biogas.  The bacteria won't care how hard the kernels are.   They're quite keen on renewable energy here - wind turbines and solar panels all over the place.

    I also wondered about corn oil (?) or starch for food processing.image

    I think the farmers crush the kernels to form a sort of corn flake before feeding it to cattle.

    ...and because it's dry when it's harvested it won't rot.  Thank you Fidget image

  • They look just like mine (mine are a bit smaller) and they where planted in a block

  • It's an association/co-operative of 11 different family farms who co-operate for economy of scale.
