Lychnis coronaria. It self seeds so freely here that it constantly renews itself so any that get tatty over a bad winter can be pulled out with no loss to the border. I have a white form too and am told by a friend that if I plant them close by they will have pink and white stripey or splodgy babies.

I find the white dominates for me. I started off with both and gradually lost all the bright pink. The seed swap came to my rescue with more pink which I shall look after more carefully now. Not so keen on the white

I've found this one Obelixx. I haven't ever bought seeds off eBay but might give this a go.
There's a house near me which has a big stand of it near the front gate. It looks great in flower Tootles. Quite a strong pink, the one they have.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I've had nothing except white and that bright magenta pink hollie.
Did the seed germinate?
Was it you that sent me the pink seed?

Was it me that sent you the pink lychnis seeds Nut?
Might have been Lyn. My memory is (always has been) poor. I always write down who I'm sending seeds/plants to but often forget who sent them to me.
They've done very well, I've got some pink on their own so hope to keep them going, white won't look right where they are
