    I'd sooner have the flea/bird Gertie. I get THE most irritating loud music boom chicka advert when I'm on here!!! It drives me nuts and is the quickest way known to get me off this site. Three bouts of it and I'm gone!

  • I'm not usually a great fan of personalised number plates but appreciated one that I saw on a Fisons truck a few years ago (for the benefit of younger forum members, Fisons used to be a pharmaceutical company who did garden chemicals among other things)

    The plate was: 

    APH 1 D

    I once saw a car with the numberplate CUM 8Y - has to have been a shepherd - doesn't it?

    Number plates here were given done by County years ago and there was a big fancy Toyota  around Belfast with the registration TIJ 1280.

    The guy had it made up in such a way that it read TURBO. Every teenager was green with envy!
