Sir/Madam,

The shortage of hosta petal beds for cyclamen is putting unprecedented pressure on the RHS.

What can be done?

    Indeed, my dear Dovefromabove, but are they doing so for the better? After all, there is no smoke bush without the fire lily, as my great aunt's second under-gardener Dibber used to mutter on Guy Fawkes' Night eve.
