Morning David unfortunately I'm unable to post pictures at the moment, another bug that the tech team are trying to sort out! When I'm able I post a picture I'll show you, not easy to describe but in my head it looks fantastic! I think I'm most looking forward to seeing the cream and pink of the April in Paris mixed with the other mixed colour variety, I'm impatient, Dove will tell you I always have been!
I'm hoping that the SP will grow up the supports and then level with the top of the bamboo hoops is my babmboo fence I'm fairly confident looking at it that they will do as intended
Plantpauper, I think we all come to this thread for sweet pea advice! David saw me right last year and i had my most successful sweet peas ever so I'm hoping to improve each year! Last year was from plug plants, this year I sowed from seeds I'm sure I will be bumping this thread up on a regular basis!
It would be useful wouldn't it! the only trouble I have now is not being able to post pictures. I always used to be able to! Nora has sent me many suggestions which I've followed but no joy I'm afraid. Not sure David advice's by description only ...my sweet peas are blooming and fabulous! The best ever! .... HONEST!

All looking good, Wonky......however, re supports, if they are normal varieties, remember they have the potential to grow 2.5 metres tall.
GD - SPs were from last year, this year's are showing early bud growth.

Oh goody . I went looking for this thread the other day and couldn't find it. Now I can't remember who needed it apart from me!!!

I know Wonky. It's brilliant. I even referenced David in the reply I gave but I'm b*****ed if I can find it now.
Once the dust has settled I think I'll start a campaign for a "search my messages" button.

Flippin' eye spy!!!!
Lucky I wasn't talking about you David!!! In a bad way I mean.
SP looking good as usual. Loving your pictures.
Spying....not really, I found it just by flipping through your post history.
Trying an experiment here...it seems I can only post pics from my pc now i.e. we've lost the ability to post from an eternal source.
Rather sad as much of what I post here comes via photobucket.
