Looking good flumpy - still time to sow more too - they'll soon catch up
I only sowed a few weeks ago and they're all germinating now. Just the right timing for our weather up here. The worst of the rough stuff will be gone by the time they're a decent size to put in the ground or pots. They can rot if I sow direct too early.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I pinched out the seedlings like you said then hardened them off in and out of the plastic greenhouse thing, then on the warm week we just had, left them out so that was brave! but all thrived and I thought them sturdy enough to plant out as they are in a raised long wooden planter that I made from pallets. I've given them bamboo hoops with wire in between to climb. I'm hoping that when they get to the top they will tumble in a cascade down my bamboo fence behind them......I type it now so that if it works, it will prove it was intended! thanks for the tips David!

Hi Steve, found it.
Thanks, i've just read it, hugely informative!!
You're welcome Mawbs, I love sweet peas
Just reinstating my favourites after inadvertently wiping clean my followed threads.
David's is first on my list, just bear with me whilst I make seemingly random posts over the next few days.
Bumpity bump
Morning all!
Planted out my sweet peas yesterday
no just to have to stop the cat sleeping in the planter!
Some to be getting on with, Wonky.
Are these grown outside David - this year? They are very pretty. My Sugar & Spice are coming on slowly - I will add some pictures in a day or two.
David they are glorious!
wish I could smell them!
