An honesty shop is one where the stock is available and you are trusted to pay up. When we've been glamping we've written down whatever we've taken and paid up at the end of the week. In the case of the plant sale, someone nearby has loads of plants on their front wall and in the front garden, with prices on, and you just put the money through the letterbox if you take anything away.
There's iris foetidus yhere too, I spotted this morning. Must remember to take some change with me later.

Well I am glad it is well behaved for somone. I spent a happy(not) few hours yesterday excavating seedlings of it from one of our Rockeries.
Agree that it is a nice enough plant.
Alchemilla ellenbeckii is another nice dwarf one too.
and A. erythropoda which also gets around a bit

It looks like the one I see regularly on hills, which is presumably the alpina one.
Always looks so pretty there, but it has plenty of room to do it's thing!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Not sure if this is an Alchemilla.
I am sure I had this but can't remember it's name!
I've no idea what an "honesty shop" is.
I wish Alchemilla Mollis was rampant in my garden. i have 2 well-behaved clumps that don't procreate sadly !
I'd err on herbaceous potentilla too.
I didn't know there were so many Alchemilla !! , been googling them all
There is a potentilla I had years ago with this silvery foliage called 'Arc en Ciel' looked a lot like this.
I'll stick with alchemilla, too many leaflets for potentilla.
