Comfrey?

Can anyone tell me if this is comfrey. It only grows to about 4-5 inches high

    tell you what Gill, I'll upload a pic of my small comphrey and you can say yes or no

  • Yes it is sort of like that but no dark spots and the flowers are pink and blue. It does creep and spread. I don't think it was ever planted in the garden, but I do like it. However, I don't really want something very invasive. What do you think?

    It's not that invasive, just don't let it go further than you want. It's a great bee plant. It's probaly not grandiflorum, mine isn't but it's very similar, Just cant think where my pic is hiding. I'll take anothet one tomorrow, it's out now. It's quite a big patch, it's been growing for about 18 years,

  • Yes that does look like it, but the flowers on mine are blue and pink. Thank you nut cutlet. Nice isn't it?

    The flowers on mine are like this.

     You can make a very smelly liquid plant feed with the leaves.
