Oh - they're just every shade of wrong nut - literally!
Pansies just get flattened by the rain here. I've never bothered with them. Polyanthus are a better bet and flower at this time of year on a regular basis. Cheery on the dank dreich days

Well the so called "winter" pansies have been a dead loss. There have been no flowers on them and they look dead to me. And it has been pretty mild here apart from a couple of frosts. I won't bother with them again.
The hellebores have been wonderful and just covered in pretty flowers non stop. I'll definitely get more of those this year.
I did put some daphne in but they may not flower this year as they are quite new.
