Sunflowers tend to appear like magic if you feed the birds in the garden, from dropped seed. Plus other more exotic things sometimes...

Yes! Thanks to their toilet habits, we acquired some delicious raspberries, three different types of berberis and a splendid mahonia. At least, I think that's what they're called.
I won't stop feeding the birds, ever!
