    The GBP strikes again?

We fed Liverpool some Newcastle brown ale that sorted them.

  • I think Craig giving Anita a six sent a lot of votes her way, seemed very unfair, was worth more than a six in anyone's judgement ( except Craig).

Enjoyed that, and thought Helen took it with genuine grace and generosity. Darcy was crying at the end - don't think she enjoyed ditching a ballet dancer.

I'm sooo disappointed and shocked by the two chosen to be in the dance off. My two favourites. Helen was top of the leaderboard last week, Georgia is consistently one of the best. When on Len's lens you could easily see that Anita's feet were all wrong and I think she is brittle. I liked her to begin with but I don't think she is as good as the others and it was time she went. Helen and Georgia should have been safe. The Great British Public are a fickle lot. Helen can't help being pretty, it's not fair to dismiss her as a Barbie Doll.

Surprising dance-off candidates but the right one stayed and the right one went.   I really don't think Helen had anything more to give.

Very pleased with the final line up.

  • Didn't think the right two were in the final tonight.  Do think that Georgia was the right choice to stay though.

I thought Anita and Katie should have been in the dance off.

Not a fan of ??atie, but she has improved over the weeks.

Still want Jay to win, but feeling unsure how the public will vote now.

Kellie has the Eastender fans behind her.

The Daily Telegraph and their readers agree with me that Helen and Georgia should not have been in the dance off and Anita should have gone. The judges thought that too. there has also been talk that the programme is rigged.

I don't think it is rigged , at this point in the show it is more about performance and who GBP like and as long as the Dancing is good which at this stage it is , it's any bodies guess image

Something different does anybody listen to Radoi 2,s Friday Night is Music night , Craig was doing and I really enjoyed it image

  • Agree with you Lizzie, wrong two in the dance off.

Have always thought if they work for the BBC they get extra marks. Have often thought too that its fixed to a certain extent.

Shame thought Helen was going to go further.

Half the votes go to the GBP and Craig's comments to Anita were bound to get people on her side and voting.  She's also the only one left with no dancing experience whatsoever and yet she pulls off an amazing performance each week - not technically perfect but danced with feeling and no fear which is just glorious from someone who is a journalist/presenter with no acting experience either.

Anton is getting the votes from his large bevvy of fans who are pleased to see him with his best partner since the first series.  Katie is also doing well and looks so elegant every time.   Gets fab frocks too which helps.

Georgia and Jay are the best technically of those left but she definitely has the edge on performance.   Kellie is very good and can also perform but isn't well served by the wardrobe and hair people.

I have to say I thought the camera direction and cutting this week was particularly poor. Usual close ups or fuzzy shots or odd angles in the competition dances when we want to see feet and top line together and they missed a lift from Anton and Joanne to focus on the singer's mouth!    Crass.
