Good set of dances throughout the evening. I'm also happy with Joe as the winner, and would have been just as happy with Gemma. Both seemed to remain very much themselves throughout the series, whereas others were always gushing or OTT about one thing or another.
"The party's over, it time to call it a day" I am going to write a song about it.
After all the angst ire and lip trembling about "Is it a dance competition or pure entertainment" I think we got both last night, at least for me it was dancing and any of the four would have made me happy. Not so the for people writing on other boards, a stitch up, Judges favouring some, those posters always find something to moan about.
I enjoyed the show and had my own favourite but always expect the GBP to come up with a different answer, they did though as I said any of them would have made me happy. Now gone for another year.
All in all quite a nicely paced final. Not so sure about the show stopper greatest hits - bits - medleys. Would have liked to see something a little more off piste.
I've always understood that a Show Dance is something to show the complete range of your ability ... like a film maker's Show Reel or an artist's portfolio ... the sort of thing you'd do at an audition.
Perhaps that dates me

Joe and Gemma, without previous experience, made excellent progress.
A good final show and happy with winner
We have the Christmas special to look forward to now RB
