    I'm a bit the same with Kniphofias but there are some nice new varieties as opposed to the (rather ugly) standard one.

    Kestrels definitely. Knautia-lovely. Great pix.

    Is it L now?

    I'd like to kick off with lavender. I love them. Will be sending off for the GW offer when I get a minute so I can have lots around my new paving.

    Should be more Ls. Lilac and Lily of the Valley, all coming out here now and smelling so sweet. In France people give each other sprigs of Lily of the Valley on the 1st May and people sell them on the roadsides.

    I'm growing Laurentia as well, also not done it before, was googing it yesterday to see what to do

    Lavatera - lovely tall plants now in purple - on list for next year.

    Lupins - can't stand them but they are L
