Can anyone help me with my problem. Bought a victoria plum tree 4 years ago which had three plums on the first year. Since then it neither blossoms not fruits and has poor quality leaves with lacy holes in them. Lately I noticed a branch had died and I removed it. Is it beyond help.

    Hi Wellygirl image

Can you tell us a bit more about your plum tree?  Where it's planted?  What sort of soil?  How much sunlight it gets?  Watering and feeding regime etc?

A photo or two would be helpful too.

  • Plum tree is planted in fairly sheltered position but soil may be the problem as it is heavy clay. Gets loads of sunlight but as to feeding and watering I feed occasionally but leave it up to the weather for water. If I were to replant with better drainage do you think it would solve the problem? Tree is now 7ft tall!
