    yes @AnniD it combines with the metal (or something like that) and the paint sticks like s...t. Done in my retirement year 2005, and just a few small damages along the bottom rail, see pic 1. But it doesn't rust so no probs

    Wow! - that does look good. I'd never have guessed it wasn't a factory-powder-coated GH if you hadn't told us!

    That's brilliant @nutcutlet , thank you so much.  Something tells me that l will be helping my friend paint her greenhouse in a few months time !

  • Nutcutlet - thanks for the pics you’ve convinced me to paint my greenhouse! Did you paint yours while it was put together or while it was still flat packed? I’ve just collected mine so it’s still in pieces which makes it feel easier to paint but I would be concerned about scratching it when putting it all together, particularly the sliding bolts on the inside of the frame. Anni I’m interested to know how you are getting on? Thanks
