Hi please can somebody name these little plants that I have grown from seed taken from my Dads garden earlier this summer, they looked so small and dainty so I took a couple of seed heads and they grew very quickly- within a month they had begun blooming and I now have loads of them!
Thanks

I'm not 100% sure, but could be a Torenia?
I had the same flower in my garden this year, except I didn't plant or so the seeds! I think I had this plant a couple of years ago, let it self seed and even though they didn't flower last year, I must have disturbed some dormant seeds and the plant flowered beautifully this year!
Oh gosh! thanks I will do some googling. Its def. not a petunia......well not as I know them, I've got lots of them in my garden at the mo.
Well I think you are right gladiogirl, thanks
It is a mimulus (monkey flower), I have a few in my gardening, beginning to flower.
Oooooooooh totally confused now ( as normal ), I think your right as well DimWit!
I'd go with mimulus
Made a final decision.....the leaves look the same as yours DW, thanks
