When I lived in Algeria this was known as Ice Plant but I don't know if that is a correct name

  • A Sedum, I think.

  • I know which plant you mean but I don't think this is it, the leaves are much more rubbery and in over a year I have never seen a flower on it. It keeps popping up all over the place and spreads very fast, roots are very strong and hard to get out too. image

  • Sorry Landgirl, thte pervious comment referred to Ice plant.

I can see what you mean about sedum, but no flowers ever?

It does look like a succulent of some kind. Sedum I'd reckon too

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I thought it was a sedum when I first noticed them last year but they have never flowered, what looks like a flower bud just seems to turn into another leaf and it has managed to get everywhere.

Might help populate my very sparse rockery if that is what it is, but I would like a little flower or two. image

I thought 'Sedum' when I first looked at the photo.  It's preferable  to herb robert or ground elder as ground cover but I don't know why it's not flowering.

It almost looks like the succulant leaves of the house plant referred to as the 'money plant' but in a prostrate form.  No idea what it is though.
