  • Two years ago I bought some agapantha bulbs in a market and brought them home. (I know you are not supposed to bring foreign plants into the UK so sorry). They are flourishing in large pots but they haven't flowered last summer or this summer. Do you think they will ever flower? Thank you.

  • Sorry, I forgot to say I bought them in Madeira .

  • Hosta, I have got loads of seed from my Festuca Glauca Elijah Blue - shall I throw it into something to get it going now, or wait?? (I LOVE this plant!)

This year i've been growing some agapanthus from seed off from my largest mother plant. Agapanthus is my favorite plant, so many different kinds. My mother plant has huge flower heads too. I've brought two new ones this year,Inapertus Black Magic that produces open clusters of near black buds in midsummer  & Strawberry Ice has white flowers with pink. Both has not flowered yet this year, hopefully next year.

I bought black magic 2 weeks ago. It's small but I can't wait to see it flower.

Dove check out Molinia Karl Foerster and M. Transparent. I've got trays of Millium effusum aureum too.

Miscanthus Nepalensis and another I've forgotten the name of Something Edith somebodyorother.
