What is this found in the garden this morning

  • This was in the garden a blackbird was trying to pick it up that was what drew my attention to it I am up in Scotland any ideas;;;

    Not sure we get them here in the central belt. I've never seen one anyway. Hope they get to adulthood safely image

    Last year I had them here in Devon, so they are pretty widespread.

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
