O Verdun, Oracle of All the Grasses, hear me!

Have bought a selection of grasses to be planted in a hot spot in heavy clay. Most of them are quite young. Should I nurture them in pots on sheltered patio until spring or get them into the ground now? Grateful for any advice B

    hi B3,

"nurture on a sheltered patio" can easily become , forget about them and they die.

I'd get them planted once you've improved the soil .

Mis in 2 litre pot. Plant about 3ft.

Carex 1 litre about 2 ft

Stippas in v small pots plants about 9ins high and very soft-looking. I think they might be very immature like new grass, unless that's what their supposed to be like when they grow up.
