Think we should be OK rain wise, its been raining here in Suffolk constantly from 10am! Had to tie up some taller plants due to the ground being so soaked! Currently hiding in the shed keeping the Flatters the cat company who feels cheated out of his playtime by the rain so its football in the shed!
But looking at the forecast it appears we get all the rain out of the way tonight and tomorrow should be brighter for us! best be prepared for the worst and hope for the best! see you all tomorrow
Hi all. Got a workman starting tomorrow. Will come if I don't need to be around for anything. As WWomble says forecast looks ok. But if it worsens I'll not come - rain is no fun with baby in tow.
Nut, if no one takes the persicaria and acquilegia I'll jump at them! Been wanting persicaria for a while and I'm an acquilegia fan.
Hope the sun shines and you all have a wonderful day.
Last time I went to Bressingham I had a baby in tow ....she is now 18. Still remember the beautiful phlox paniculatas ......its where my enthusiasm for them first began. Maybe they are still there, in the island beds
The day has dawned and it's still tipping down - but according to this http://www.gardenersworld.com/weather/suffolk-mid/ it'll stop soon and just be cloudy so as long as we have sensible shoes we should be fine ...... fingers are very crossed.
Nut, can I put my name down for a persicaria cutting please?
See you all soon ...............
