That sounds good Dove. See how things are panning out for the next couple of weeks but I'm sure there will be a day available for a garden visit somewhere image. I'll be in touch...

Fidget - you are right about the plant centre now. It is still a decent plant centre - but just another large Wyevale clone. It was one of my favourite places to visit when it was under the Bressingham umbrella with a huge range of hardy geraniums and other really choice perennials. Get fed up with picking my way round the scented candles and greeting cards now ...

Let me know if you plan a trip Topbird. If I can, I'll come and bring you some Geranium nodosumimage

I've found the new Bressingham nursery. Plants only sold online. Presumably there is a clause saying the gardens bit can't sell plants within a certain radius of the garden centre from when they sold it. It is now run by Alan Blooms grandson.

I went there about a month ago.... lovely place. As we sailed along in the train there was a gorgeous perfume from something which I couldnt identify.... a bit like lavender, but not quite. Couldnt see any tho, or anything else it might have been... anyone else find that? If so... What was it??  Really strong it was, and lovely.

Wow Fidget - that is a good find image

I thought the whole lot had been taken over by Wyevale but clearly not. That looks like an excellent source for perennials and (if they are following in the family tradition) they will be good plants too. Need to save some pocket money now.

Nut - it would be lovely to see you if we go to Bressingham and I would love some of the geraniums - they will be perfect for my woodland border - thank you image

Jo, sorry - I have no idea - I'm afraid I was a bit 'snap happy' and concentrating on colours, shapes and textures rather than plant names - if I go back I'll try to ID it for you - unless Verdun or someone can put a name to it sooner.

Fabulous photos! I really enjoyed the day and it was so lovely to see everyone. Twiglet is a very handsome baby and behaved wonderfully.image

It was great to see you again Artjak - and love the new hairstyle - really suits you and shows off your good bone structure image (if you'll excuse the personal remark).

Glad you all enjoyed it. We went on the 10th July and had a lovely day, weather was warm and sunny. We'd met Dove the day before in a Suffolk pub. I hope you don't mind if I put some photos here too. I also went on the carousel, OH took the photo from the horse in front.
