  • This potted acer is looking rather splendid at the moment:

  • Thank you.......acer 'garnet', Verdun.

As I always say, best to click on the pic to see it at its best.

  • Nice dahlia, Lizzie......spotted these at Shrewsbury Flower Show:

All the frames (and we have a 30 foot long run of them) are full of baby plants, the Tunnel is full of baby plants, the shade house is full of plants, her greenhouse is full of seedlings and the Cuttings frame is packed with not ready to plant up baby plants. I think I might have gone a tad over the top this year.

Wow, looks like a full time job! How do you find the time? Your garden must be huge, I know it's big because I've seen photos.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • David... rather splendid is an understatement when describing that acer.

Berghill, you have more space in your greenhouses etc than I have in my garden image. On the positive side the fuchsia cuttings I took last weekend haven't died yet- keep yourfingers crossed for me everyone
